Dive with Dolphins
A wild dolphin encounter while Scuba diving is one of the most thrilling experiences a diver can have. Dolphins are common in the Caribbean ocean. The most common species in the Caribbean are; Bottlenose, Atlantic spotted, Spinner, and Rissos dolphins. It is very possible you might enjoy a unique opportunity to swim with wild, and friendly dolphins.
Often dolphins will remain in one area for weeks. Dolphins do not dive very deep so encounters for new open water divers is as common as for the more experienced deep diver. Dolphins are very friendly, but keep your distance. Their behavior is very unpredictable. Look, do not touch.
Dive centers will tell you of any dolphin sightings. If you are lucky your dive boat crew will include a dive to their location. Encounters with dolphins in captivity are also options on your vacation. They are usually “swim with” encounters managed in a controlled setting. Here are a few:
